    Its available in the ASUS G71v, so it should be out soon, as OEM.

    And here is the datasheet. Same Socket P and TDP is 45W (and massive 12MB L2 Cache), but wait for the BIOS to be updated.

    Does anybody know if the QX9300 will work with the M860TU (ignoring the thermal budget) with no modifications?

    best to post in the Sager and Clevo forum for that one. dont take my word but I see no reaosn why it shouldnt work, unless it has a slightly different pin layout.

    Thermal Budget has never been a problems, unless you can undervolt well, or use an external cooler.

    The Q9100/QX9300 have the same pin-package, but a completely different pin-out. Intel compares it to the old Socket P pin-out in the Mobile QC datasheet.

    You can find this out from your reseller/manufacturer, if a different socket/motherboard is required to support the QCs.

    And BIOS Support ?!
