    Hello everyone!

As the title says, I'd like to know which processor is better. On the paper, these are the numbers:

    Core Solo T1350 1866MHz 2048 KiB 533 MT/s 14x 0.762/1.3V 13.1-27W Socket M

    Core Duo T2050 1600MHz 2048 KiB 533 MT/s 12x 0.762/1.3V 13.1-31W Socket M

So, which one do you think i should pick?

    Thanks a lot! ;)

The core duo is much faster than any core solo.
It's 1600Mhz per CORE. So in effect, 3200 Mhz vs 1866 mhz.

    It's a very doubtful argument.

However, Core Duo is certainly the way to go if you like many applications run at the same time (who don't). Extra MHz of Core Solo will have hardly noticeable effect on your daily work.

You can't really compare a dual core and a single core chip. A Core Duo will beat the Core Solo in multitasking and work enviornments, but the Core Solo will be better at gaming since both cores will not be used in most games. Choose which one depending on your needs.

No...No. It is just two 1600MHz cores working in parallel. The clocks speeds dont add up. The T2050 will be much faster in multithreaded applications and will be slightly slower(more or less equivalent) to the T1350 in single threaded applications due to it running at a lower clock speed.

    Lord Vader:
I would suggest the T2050 but if you are on a limited budget the T1350 should do fine.
