So lately I've been trying to get this feature to work. I'm not even sure if the IGP supports it as I recall reading here that it didn't have this IGP turbo. A few days ago I checked the link again and now it seems to have the turbo. However the clock stays stuck on default (heck I've only seen it downclock itself).

So is it supposed to turbo and under which conditions? I know an extra 167MHz is probably not going to help the IGP anyways. But at this point I'm just wondering if it actually works or not.

I always thought you needed at least a Core i5 to get any sort of turbo functionality.

I know your statement is true for the CPU part. I think it's not even called "turbo" on the IGP, on the link in the OP it's "Graphics Max Dynamic Frequency".
