Starlight5 Yes, I'm a cat. What else is there to say, really?
cdoublejj, no it can't.
-
It cannot, chipset is limited to FSB 667 processors, all intel mobile quads run at FSB 1066, not to mention different pin config.
-
OUCH!!! what's the fastest dual it can support?
-
Actually to 800MHz: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/gl40-chipset-cpu-compatibility.334009/. Fastest would be extreme X9000 2.8GHz, followed by T9500 2.6GHz, T9300 2.5GHz.
cdoublejj likes this. -
at 30ish bucks the T9300 is decent chip had one in my Acer5920G good chip. almost sorry i sold my 5920g.

cdoublejj, you did the right thing - while it still had any value. It's great you were able to find someone who bought it. =) My 5930g has dead pixels on the screen, meaning we're likely stuck together until forever. =/
