are those settings any good/worth applying?
how much power consumption can be lowered and in wich situations it will give "impact on graphics performance and visual experiance"?
will that hit 3D applications only?

You will find next to none for power saving using those settings, on my old Asus W5F I played around with them and the difference was less than .5w/h as measured by notebook hardware control.
One downside to using those tweaks is it plays around with the display settings in someway and i noticed some flickering that was quite bothersome, your best bet is to just leave it off. -
trx, you can always try it out. GMA X4500 is naturally more power hungry than GMA 950 used in W5F. Flickering problems are usually software problems so newer drivers might not have the problem.
How much power saving it would give would be heavily dependent on usage. It even says on the power management utility your graphics performance will be impacted.
