The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. I really think NBR should get dips on first productions as many of the big desktops sites, i mean this is the biggest laptop site, this were oriented for laptops.... now its for any high end setup, but still i think people in NBR will test them in laptops where we can even find weakness with chipsets and probably whats better for pure laptops standpoints, i think phil should get some and do some reviews for NBR on laptops.

Phil, when limited to SATA2 SSD's - it performs on par to them (of course the SATA3 SSD's will be superior on SATA3 connections).

The bootup times don't look as impressive, I agree - but overall this is solid performance from the 'refreshed' G2 technology. At least for its target market of SATA2 platforms.

I'm surprised Samsung 470 is so much faster.

And Kingston closely followed. I faintly remember most reviews didn't show Kingston as a top performer.
