Is having a 1gb of Intel Turbo Memory (Robson) in ur laptop worth it? Cause ive read it increases start up and acces time etc... especially with Vista.

It only helps if you don't have enough RAM, if you do have enough it does nothing many have said makes worse. Many posts on this. RAM is cheap.

Do not waste your money, the Robson turbo memory module causes more problems than its worth.
In most cases, the turbo memory will slow down your system.
The turbo memory module only speeds up the system, if you have a slow 4200rm harddrive.
If your harddrive is 5400rpm's than it will have a higher transfer speed than the turbo memory module will.
It does not really help at all, since many have reported BSOD's and slowdowns.
Your best bet is to buy a fast laptop harddrive, as that will speed up overall performance substantially.
I recommend getting a 250Gb or larger 5400rpm drive, as they compete with the 7200rpm notebook drives.

As powerpack mentioned, upgrade the memory to at least 3Gb and you will be fine.

No it's not worth it. I have it in my m15x and there is no difference in performance whether it is enabled or disabled.
