    Hello everyone!

Recently I bought one Intel Turbo Memory 1gb from a seller on eBay, and then it has come to me. When it arrived, I installed the mini-board in my Dell Vostro 1500, following the instructions in the manual.
But, something is annoying me. The notebook has no operating system at this time, because I am waiting to receive my 64-bit Windows Vista DVD, so, I looked at the BIOS setup to find if everything was working fine.
In the device settings, I found that the Flash Cache Module is set as {none}, even after I've installed the mini-board in the wwan place or in the wpan place, all compatibles with the fcm(flash cache module), according with the manual.
What is happening? Did I bought a broken card?
Or I have to install windows vista and then install the drivers and softwares?
Or I have to upgrade or reinstall my notebook bios?

    Please, help me!

    Thanks,
    Andre Curvello

I dont' know what chipset on Vostro 1500, but did you install it into the right PCI express slot?

The bio should pickup the present of Turbo Memory module if you installed into the right mini PCI express. If not, it could be the Bio does not support the turbo memory even though the chipset does.

If you installed turbo memory into the right slot, you can reseat it again.

I've installed my 32-bit Windows Vista, only for testing purposes. I've found that Windows recognizes the Intel Turbo Memory device, but I still having problems with the driver, receiving an "error code 10".
    Can anyone help me?

Are you sure you installed it correctly? (as in, it's seated properly, and not only partially attached?)

Yes, I installed it right, all according with the manual, in the right slot and in the right way.
I saw other people having the same problem in the web, could this be a problem of the mini-card or just a driver problem?
