Ok so I have a Sager 5791 with the Intel Wireless 4965AGN card and connecting to my Belkin N1 router all I get is 54 MPS. I updated the driver from the Intel site and still no luck. I was connecting at 125 MPS before, but I sent the lappy in to Sager for another issue, and now all I can get is 54MPS. Also, whats the highest connection speed you guys are experiencing with the N cards and routers. Anyone even come close to 300MPS.

    Thanks, Kole

If you research this issue is a well documented issue in regards to the Draft-N cards not achieving the desired speeds. It seems that dual hand routers are a must to do the channel bonding necessary to achieve the 300mbits/sec. That being said it is odd you were getting 100 mbits plus, and now you are getting 54 mbits again. Has a software setting been changed in the card?

have you checked to make sure all three antennas are re-connected?? make sure they are all there with only 2 of them you will only see 54 with that card i had this issue myself the grey one was unplugged when i got my 5791. imo their qc at clevo or sager sucks ass.. i have fixed numerous things now that should have all been done at the factory not here in my hands, except for my keyboard getting replaced again and my lid having a dent in it but they are both being replaced i now have every bug worked out as far as i can tell with my 5791 and now it makes me happy.. well it will once i get the keyboard and lid swapped out

I checked the connections and all 3 wires are connected to the wireless card. 140 on a N router sounds about right. That's what I was getting before I sent it in to sager. I did get 65Mps at some point today though. Man I really don't want to send this thing in again.
