    Hi,

I am looking for a new laptop that should be a decent gaming device (FIFA 2011/PES2011, Just Cause 2, etc) and give me at least 3.5+ hrs of battery life if I am just using office/internet.

Within my budget fall these two options:

    Samsung's NP-R439-DA08IN with
    Intel® Core™ i3 Processor 370M (2.40GHz, 3MB)
    2 GB DDR3 RAM
    Intel GMA HD (Int. Graphic)

    OR

    Toshiba's L640D-M4010 with
    AMD Athlon Dual Core P320 (2.1 Ghz 2 Core CPU, 1MB Cache, 3200 MT/s 25W Processor)
    3 GB DDR3 RAM
    AMD RS880M + S820M chipset
    ATI Powerplay™ Technology
    ATI M92XT-S2 512MB Dedicated Graphics

There is a price difference of about Rs.6000 between the two (Toshiba being cheaper) but I don't want to get a laptop that compromises on performance, longevity and obsolescence.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to get a definite picture on how these two machines (especially the processors and vid cards) stack up against each other. Not even sure if they last for 3.5 hrs. I would really like some inputs here... or even alternatives that I've missed.

For the record, I am looking at laptops around the Rs.30,000 mark in India.

    Thanks.
