    Hi,

I was wondering which one of these two processors is better. On the charts the quad seems to outdo the dual core, but I'm not entirely sure which one to pick.

In my case I want to use this for music production and DJing, as well as work stuff (Excel, SAP, etc.), so which one would be more suitable?

    Thanks!

Get the quad core. It's more futureproof.

Quad core will serve you better in the future, especially if you use multicore applications for music and such. At worst, you'll pay a little extra for a processor that will last much longer.
