I can't find the technical specifications of i7-2670QM on Intel's website.

Is it a genuine Intel product?

The 2670QM might be replacing the 2630QM but it is a tiny bit more than just a clock increase; it also includes AES & VT-d which the 2630QM does not, but to most people this won't matter unless they are running disc encryption and VMs.

    Actually, the 2630qm includes AES-NI.

    ----
It is pretty much up to OEM to enable AES-NI and VT-* support

    Hi Charles,

Your link to the webpage only states the specs for 2760QM. I'm looking for 2670QM.

The 2670QM seems like a very nice option.
If one would be getting a SB quad, then this is the one to get most definitely (anything abover that is plain and simple not worth the cost, unless you wish to OC).
