    goood. This will be great news for consumers :)

    1)Competition is scarce in the SSD market, so this will give them a reason to make them affordable.

    2) LES had mentioned a week ago that the SSD manufactures had seemed to take a month off. Well, maybe this will get the fire going under their ass again, because we've all been waiting for this option to become viable.

    It's good they're trying to address the speed issue, but it seems like all of the SSD vendors are. I'm much more interested to see if they'll actually try to address the PRICE issue (or if, as Waterwizard11 said, the competition will inspire the SSD makers across the board to address the price). When even the cheapest drive is $17/GB, it kind of limits the application.
