Has anyone else heard about Intel price reductions coming out July 22nd 07'? I am about to buy a Laptop from either PCTorque.com or Xoticpc.com, but I am now considering waiting until after the 22nd so I can get a T7500 for the price of the T7300.
Also, Any Idea on who is better, PCTorque.com or Xoticpc.com? Both have 10 out of 10 on notebookreview.com, but PCTorque.com is about $100 cheaper for the same rig (no extra charge for XP pro or a carrying case).

    Thanks

I believe Intel are bringing out a new range of Mobile CPUs later this month, so it is well worth the wait, as older CPUs will come down in price.

Luckily, I'm planning on purchasing my notebook in that week so I really hope that prices for processors goes down. It will sure help me out since I'm trying my hardest to work to afford my $2500, 4 year college computer. I don't want to overpay for anything.

But will that directly impact the laptop already in market or the ones to be released later with the "going to be old processor from 22nd July"

That would be the Penryn update to their processors, which is occurring at the very end of this year/very early next year. Penryn shrinks processors from the current 65nm to the new 45nm process.

Originally Intel was going to update laptop processors to the 45nm chips before launching their new mobile platform, called Montevina. However, with non-high end 45nm processors pushed back into early next year, I'm not sure they'll refresh laptops with 45nm processors before the release of Montevina. If I had to guess, I'd say Intel is going to release Penryn laptop processors and the Montevina platform simultaneously in May next year, just like they released the Santa Rosa platform with the upgraded 800 Mhz FSB processors.
