Hello, I am going to order the Dell E1705, and i'm wondering if the Intel Pro wireless 3945 a/g is worth the extra $30, or should i just go with dell's wireless? I am going to be doing a little gaming on a g router at home, and i don't know what they'll have at my college.

Are you planning to run any windows? The Dell wireless is from Broadcom, bad for linux, bad drivers. I have Dell wireless (1300) and it has better range then my other laptop with the Intel chip.

Well I was using the Intel ProoWireless but the latest version caused a BSOD for me so I un-installed and went back to the Windows wireless manager, no problems since then. Although you do need to download a hotfix if you wish to use WPA2 with the Windows wireless.
