Hey guys, I know how hard it is plugging in that small USB wireless for your wireless mouse, but its harder for me with my Trackball and the darn wireless dongle that has a 5 ft cable and sits on my desk. My current solution involves velcro on the back of my LCD, which isnt the best idea but it works for now. Im gonna be taking out the transmitter and placing it inside my notebook case and attaching it internally via some sort of USB connection (im gonna do bluetooth while im at it!!!)
has anyone done anything similar and know a thing or two about it?

If I understand this correcty, you're going to try to put the entire wireless reciever inside your notebook? How do you plan to do that? There's not exactly a lot of spare room in most notebooks.
And if you're adding bluetooth anyways, why not just buy a new wireless mouse that is bluetooth compatable?
What model of computer are you using? E.G. Dell Inspiron 9300, IBM T42, etc.Last edited by a moderator: Jan 29, 2015 -
1st. using Compaq Presario r4000
2. There is a small compartment just enough to put the reciever (test fitted it already) under the DVD drive
3. The wireless mouse i use (logitech trackman) dosnt come in a bluetooth model, otherwise i would have gotten it. I like this mouse as i have been using the trackman trackball line since i was 8 years old!!! (10 years) -
please take pics of your mod and post... should be interesting to see

definately will do my friend. Soon enough im internalizing bluetooth, wireless (installing antenna) and this mouse reciever (only problem will be the connect button :/) so ill probally trhow them all in one write-up with pics for everyone
the connect button shouldnt be a problem though, it has one on the bottom of the mouse and i never need it anyway so yeah
