    Hi

I have recently bought a new laptop, which only came with 2gb RAM (1066MHz). I have been onto Crucial and both the 1333Mhz and 1066Mhz RAM were the same price, so I went and bought another 2gb ram for the spare slot, however I went for 1333Mhz.
The processor in the laptop is a core i3 380M.

I am now a bit worried that the two different speeds wont be compatible. Please could someone knowledgeable let me know if it will be OK to run the two together (I dont mind if the 1333 slows to 1066).

    Thanks

    The 1333MHz memory will downclock to 1066MHz. Shouldn't be a problem :)

Compatible ;) No worries :) That's what I did too when upgrading - I currently have one 1066 and one 1333 module inside. The 1333 clocks down to 1066. That's all :)

    Nothing to worry about!
