Hi everybody!
I'm sitting here with my lovely Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Xa1526 and woundering if it'll be possible for it to take 4 GB of memory?
The manual says it woun't, but as I see it, it should, logically, because it uses the same chipset (nVIDIA C51D+MCP51) as det newer edition, Xa2528, which does support 4 GB of memory according to the manual.
So what do you all think, is it possible or is there a limitation in the BIOS, or even better, has anyone tried it?
Oh and just so you don't have to ask: yes, I'm running a Vista Business 64-bit edition.![]()
In advance, thanks!

I am afraid it doesn't support more than 2Χ1GB.

The Xa2528 uses the intel965 chipset, that's why it can support 4GB.

I know it's doen't officially support more than 2 GB og memory, as pointede out. And again, why use a search engine as Crucial's to check these kindda things out, and not official papers, like the manual that I also refered to?
Conclusion: please, read my post before you answer. Thanks!

For some reason your link isn't working, but I just found this my self: http://forum.fujitsu-siemens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=27918&start=15 (See post 4, from the top.)
So it IS possible to use 4 GB of momory, at least with the 1.1n version of the BIOS!
