I have ordered a Core i7 2670QM Inspiron 15R N5110 and wish to upgrade to SSD. Is there any benefit in fitting a SATA III SSD over a SATA II one? In other words does the N5110 support SATA III performance?

SNB = Series 6 Intel chipset so unless the engineers were drunk when they designed the notebook, it should support SATA 6Gbps.

No, Dell doesn't allow drunks to work for them (I think they could possibly be stoned though.... :) ).
