Question in title. Thanks in advance.
-
Yes.
Full HD is 1080p. -
Okay what does that mean exactly. Which I also heard the difference of 1080 and 720 is hard to see on a 15.4" screen.
-
In short, yes. 1080p is what some refer to as "true" HD, as it's the highest level of resolution commercial available. However, you're not going to see a difference between 720p and 1080p unless you're viewing a screen bigger than around 50".

okay thanks
-
720 and 1080 refers to the vertical pixels or number of vertical lines of resolution.
-
720p= 1280x720
1080i/p= 1920x1080 (1080p is not even supported by HDTV Receiver yet) -
and keep in mind that 720p looks better than 1080 i, unless you're viewing still frames.

Yeh the P on the end means progresive, which means that all lines are changed at once in once fluid movement, I stands for Interlaced which means that only half the lines are changed at once, hence why 720p can be better than 1080i when viewing games and sports, while 1080p is the big daddy which has the best of both worlds.
Is 720p HD?
