    Is ATI Radeon HD2600 same as a X1900?

    Not at all it is a current midrange card below 8600m GT and over 8600 GS

    x1900(last years high end card) is comparable to 7900GTX or 8700 GT but
    both 7900/1900 would beat the crap out of 8700GT in high resolutions.
    8700GT is a high-mid range card
    The toshiba you are looking at will not give you pleasant game play the 2600Hd GPU in it is ddr2 and the HDD speed is 4200rpm which will cause alot of delay when loading programs or booting up.

    It's not added to that list yet. But no, it's not. It's a HD2600 (probably based on desktop HD2600).

    Its better to say a little better then the 8600GT and less then the 8700GT. Game performance may vary though.

    Actually it depends on the version. The GDD3 HD2600 is better than the 8600GT DDR2, but slower than the GDDR3 8600M GT. The HD 2600XT is close to the 8700M GT

    What about NVIDIA Quadro NVS 320M is it same as NVIDIA® GeForce® 8700M GT for gaming?

    Yes it is, as it's the same card. The Quadro drivers might be incompatible with some games, but you can install regular geforce drivers and get a 8700M GT

    Is there any good 17screen laptops with
    Nvidia GeForce Go7900GTX / Go7950GTX (512MB)
    or should i just try to get 8700M GT ?

    Well, the best 17" laptop (IMO) is the HP 8710p with a Quadro NVS 320M. It's a business class laptop and very well built. Design could be better, but it does look better in person.

    You can still get the Go7950GTX in Clevo M570RU and D900/901c. Check out the clevo guide for more information.

    the 8800m GTX is coming soon but will be at first only avaliable at CLEvo, and later to toshiba and Dell

    Regarding my last statement about 2600hd it is abcolutely true because toshiba has inserted a cheaper ddr2 version of 8600GT which is significantly worse than Gddr3 version maybe it is also crippled!
