I have a 64gb Samsung SSD 470 series sata 2 max 250mb read speed and for the past few weeks my speed test results are about equal to a 7200rpm drive. (well max transfer rate is at 105mb sometimes) Now the samsung magic tool says that you should not benchmark your ssd more than once a day as it kills the life of it. Is the hdtune benchmark pretty much killing it as well because I have done that one more.
Currently I tried clearing out temp files and stuff to free up some space. I have had about 27gb free so not that I need it or anything but I really don't know how these ssd's work, not only are they less space but then your not even supposed to have them more than half filled. I think I'm going back to regular or hybrid hard drives.

GC = garbage collector... it's kind of implemented with TRIM, working when idle..

What IRST driver you using ? Your results look SATA I not a SATA II SSD. Your Bios in ACHI or IDE mode for this drive ?
