    I use DELL XPS M1530.

I put a rubber made protector on the keyboard. I think the material is similar to LCD protector.

Recently I have just realized while I was typing on my friend's laptop without the keyboard skin , it feels like a heat came out from the keyboard.

Is it ok with my laptop? It seems like the heat cannot came out from inside.

But I also confused how to keep it from dust, etc. Please give me any alternatives.

    Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about it. Keyboards aren't vents, though heat may radiate through them, they aren't designed to dissapate heat. A hot keyboard is more often a sign on an inadaquete cooling system.

I don't know about you, but when I saw the tech that came over to fix my laptop take my Studio apart yesterday, I was surprised to see that part of the hole under the laptop that takes air in has intakes around the keyboard also - which probably explains why it stays cool even when on a soft surface.

    chrisliando,
look at your keyboard on an angle and see if their are any vent holes in it. I am not sure if there are any, but if their are, using a keyboard protector will limit air flow to the fan.
If there are not vents in the keyboard, than I would say it is completely fine to get a keyboard protector.
