The X9100 is $550 more than the P9500 at XoticPC for a OCZ Whitebook.
Is the $550 worth it (bang per buck) or is it a premium that you're paying for, just to get the "best"? I'm not too familiar with laptop parts...
I just want to be able to play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 on max res with max details smoothly (I ordered the dual ATi 3870)

Well, the simple and most correct answer would be NO. There are almost no circumstances where the X9100 is worth that $550 more
Starcraft 2 and diablo 3 will be limited (if at all) only by those dual 3870s. Heck, you'll prob be able to max both out anyway. -

Kamin_Majere =][= Ordo Hereticus
nope not at all.
You can actually get x9100's for less than 550 so why would you pay that for the upgrade. Heck if you want the x9100 then get the weakest CPU in the system and upgrade yourself for cheaper
Is X9100 worth $550 over the P9500?
