USB 3.0 Dual SATA HDD Hard Drive Docking Station | eBay

tilleroftheearth Wisdom listens quietly...
That actually looks pretty nice.
But with no brand name (meaning I won't see it locally) and being an eBay 'product' - I simply won't seriously consider it. -
^ I agree, but if it works - it works. What else do you need, right?

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
It may work, but say it decides to die, are you gonna spend the 40 bucks to ship it back for repair? And just to let you know, I have seen cheapo USB to hard drive adapters fry hard drives..
-
That is just ridiculous,
Most of the high street stuff comes from the same factorys/companies that sell the cheap eBay stuff.
There is no grounds to back that statement? Just because it hasn't a brand you can associate with? I have found that in my experience the products from eBay are as good if not better value for money than the high street stuff.
I have bought high street electrical items and they have been a waste of money. I have also had branded motherboards fry hard drives, Memory and Graphics cards.
I would buy that without thinking about it if I needed one. -

Thanks for the tip; just bought one.
While people are complaining, I'll try it out...as -one- of my multiple methods of backup. Never have just one... -
I have a dual eSATA dock similar to that but requires two eSATA cables, which means I can only use it on specific hardware. A USB 3.0 would be better since I have USB 3.0 on three of my machines. Great device for troubleshooting, drive imaging, and backing up data.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback on it. -
I ordered one too. We'll see how it goes.

So i got it and it works perfect for Basic disks. It doesn't like Dynamic ones though.
Is anyone using this dual docking station? Yay, nay?
