    Discharge your battery fully when on battery power, I am on battery power multiple times a day and only usually go down to about 50%. Should I be using the rest of that battery power before recharging?

    I would go down to at least 24% or lower.

    Lithium Ion batteries have charge-discharge cycle. Once you charge your battery no matter 10%,50%, or even 95%, it will reduce that cycle by one.
