Mine does not, although i heard some people who have this model can see theirs flickering (Latitude E6400).
I bought my mom an ASUS K52F-BBR5 from best buy the other week and I noticed it flickering on lower brightness levels (where people claimed they noticed my model flickering) and she (57 year old lady) noticed it as well. I checked to see if any power options were enabled but nothing of the sort was.
So...should i exchange it?

Not a good sign, brand new with a noticable flicker. Won't improve, I would send or give it back if I could.

Oh man, i was really hoping this wouldnt be the case. Thanks.

Copy that! I would also return it. Does it only show up on low brightness?

My mom and sister said they tested various brightnesses and is fine now, so i honestly have no idea if it just needed a break in or something or what. I was pretty sure i still saw flickering after i disabled any possible power saving features but maybe it needed a reboot or something. anyway, they assure me its fine and im in another city, so if it becomes a problem, i'll have to go through ASUS. hey, its not my laptop, its my moms!
thanks!
Is it normal for LED screens flicker?
