hi i want to buy something like the dell xps m1710, toshiba qosmio g30, alienware m9700. but the thing is the qosmio and the alienware does not feature some sort of shock absorbtion/resistance system (that i know of). i'm not gonna do routine travelling to work/school with my laptop, mainly i am just going to move around the house, go to friends house, etc. I will probably move the laptop around the house fairly often. would laptop such as the qosmio which only got shock resistance of 1.5G and vibration resistance of 0.25G stand up to the abuse? the satellite p100 by comparison has shock resistance of 10G and vibration resistance of 0.5G

Don't worry, as long as your not moving the computer when your writing to your Hard drive, then you should be fine. Just be careful, and dont drop the computer .
