I have the same PLL as in that thread on my 5935G
Bringing up setFSB I get this:

Moving the ratio slider yields no change when I click set it just goes back to 266mhz.
Is there anything I can try?

There might be a more scientific way, but the easiest method for most folks to check this out is to just try 1st getting, and if that succeeds, then setting the fsb with setfsb.
If you don't get BSD, check with cpu-z that your processor is actually going faster, and you're done. -
Most likely pll have TME enable. I couldn't find datasheet for it but, if i understand this right from this russian site: ??????????? Overclockers.ru • ???????? ???? - ?????? ????????? this silego pll have idt equivalent which is 9LPRS387, There is link there to moded lenovo Y550 with that same silego pll (T4300 200MHz --266MHz): ???-??????? Picasa - 11355662706347744... - y550.
Is my PLL locked?
