I bought the Toshiba Q 256gb SSD last September to replace a 128gb Samsung 830. Now the system feels like it's not as snappy as it used to be, especially during start up(I have to shutdown the laptop because the 680M doesn't allow me to use sleep). So I did a test with Crystaldiskmark and the results are:

CrystalDiskMark 3.0.2 Shizuku Edition x64 (C) 2007-2013 hiyohiyo

Is this normal for a drive that has some data on it?

Toshiba Q Series Pro 256GB SSD Review - Offers Great Value - Benchmarks - CrystalDiskMark
It has lost a bit of speed, but do control you don't have a ton of programs that run at startup and that you haven't changed some BIOS settings round about.
Also do check if one particular program is faulty for this slow startup as you feel it has become.
Best of luck! -
OK thanks for the link. I decided to update my nvidia driver and not use nvidia experience, which seemed to help quite a bit. I never realized how fat the nvidia drivers are.

Use ccleaner and ccleaner enhanced, together with BleachBit to clear all the unnecessary backdoor shizzle cached up. Might help- but be careful deleting too much, check all options you feel good with.
