    Is my motherboard the cause?

I have been experiencing a lot of problems with my Dell Inspiron 1525, so much that I'm typing this on my mom's iPad, but I'll outline the key issues:

    1. My keyboard skips every other key press
    2. The CPU fan doesn't accelerate to cool down the system
    3. The trackpad is unusable as it acts erratic when I try to use it
    4. I can't always restart the computer without it staying on a black screen
    5. Here's the biggest PITA: wireless signal drops all the time to the point where it shows no connections available

Now why do I think it's because of the mb? Because I replaced the fan and trackpad to fix the problem and it DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING!!!!!!!!! Now the cause I believe is when I was taking my laptop apart, a drop of sweat fell next to the keyboard connector on the mb. Maybe I didn't clean it up fast enough. Either way I feel like a new mb is in my future.
