Well...I'm an overclocking enthusiast and when I'm bored I love tinkering with my computer and trying to get the most out of it. This article caught my eyes because it offered a whopping 33% increase in processor speed through pin modding the motherboard. After opening CPU-Z, my FSB came up as 133.0 MHz and Bus Speed ad 532.2 MHz. The article interchanged the 2 values and confused me a little. It seems as though my system already has the 33% increase from 400 to 533 or 100 to 133. But after looking at Futuremark ORB details, my system details showed a FSB of 400 MHz. How can I find out which source is valid and if I am still able to pin mod the processor?

The Dothan 755 runs at 400mhz FSB, which is 100mhz, quad pumped. If your memory is able to run @ 533, then attempt the overclock. Be sure to have plenty of light and tweezers. GL

But the 133MHz FSB and 533MHz bus speed is irrelevant from the 400MHz FSB on CPU-Z? I'll give an image.

My bad, your Dothan is already running @ 133/533. Pin modding wont help you. All the reviews of the P M 755 on the net shows a 100/400 FSB. Your 133/533 is a new release. Sorry

Darn. I wish I could change the multiplier. I'm able to overclock it, but only through PLL.
Is pin modding my processor still possible?
