Will this wireless card increase network performance and how stable is it?

@Luraundo no, it's can of worms. Get Intel.

Has Intel fixed ping spikes in their wireless drivers yet?

@Carrot Top they definitely fixed 7260 drivers, after all the suffering they caused. I am not aware of major problems with other cards.

Hehe, you did not pass the test :). As of latest drivers, ping spikes on AC 7260 still happen if WLAN Optimizer is not used.

Works perfectly for me.. Wireless connection is more stable then Intel... Bluetooth is hit and miss initially but I have the correct drivers now and it's fine..

@Carrot Top I admit it seems I wasn't running the latest driver version, but didn't have any lag spikes in Overwatch when I played it. \= Couldn't resist pressing the update button, heh. (= Also, if for whatever reason you're running it on 2.4GHz network, don't forget to limit 2.4GHz channel width to 20MHz in driver settings.

Running ping test to my router now, lag spikes occur only if I click on networks icon to the right of taskbar, the one which shows available networks. Clicking on notifications, launching network and sharing center or network connections control panel, or anything else I tried don't cause lag spikes for me. Running driver version from Windows Update.
