Just wondering does a 7200rpm 500GB HDD exist for sale in the UK that will fit the XPS M1530?

I was thinking of upgrading the M1530 in my sig to 6GB RAM and a 500GB HDD (and go up to 7200rpm). Not 100% sure if it is worth doing yet but I was going to put the 320GB HDD into my PS3 because I could really do with a bit more than the 60GB that comes standard lol.

All I could find on the Ebuyer UK website was a 250GB 7200rpm HDD, nothing larger. Am I out of luck?

There are no 500GB 7200RPM drives available.

    Check out Overclockers and Lambda-Tek for the WD5000BEVT (500GB 5400RPM), or the 320GB 7200RPMs (Seagate 7200.3, Hitachi 7K320, WD3200BEKT)

I actually got an email from supermedia store and they listed a 500GB 7200RPM Samsung drive and I got all excited but it was really just the 5400RPM drive.

And the Samsung one uses 3 platters which will not perform well either. You probably want to wait for the Seagate 7200.4
