I know there are adapters to convert DisplayPort to HDMI, but I was wondering if the same exists for DVI-D? I've been connecting to my external 20" LG monitor via VGA, but it also has a DVI-D port (which is how I connect the monitor to my desktop video card).

Well, I didn't know that was a find-the-cheapest-adapter contest or something... (you can use Google for that).

Otherwise, I personally prefer the adapters with a cable as they are easier to use with notebooks but that's up to you. -

(well for me anyways)
i prefer adapter dongles with cables too... no idea why monoprice doesn't have one for full displayport when they have one for minidisplayport
Is there a DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter?
