I am asking the question, even though I have the feeling that the answer will be no. But I decided to ask it anyways. The only decent glossy screen I've seen out there is Sony's xBrite. The worst one's I've seen are the Lenovo 3000 VibrantView.
So are there any good glossy screens that are non-reflective and minimize the glare?
-
Some HP glossy screens reflect noticably less than other glossy screens. You might want to check them out.
-
Fujitsu's Crustalview screens are glossy surface but have anti reflective coatings, similar to those used on eyeglasses.
-
And here's another question. Who besides Apple makes a 15.4" wxga+ (1440X900) matte (non-glare) screen?
-
No one. These screens aren't polupar, only a few notebooks have them and they are glossy... plus, the MBP has LED screen.
-
Lenovo Thinkpads and HP business notebooks are matte, and they come in all kinds of sizes at all kinds of resolutions.
-
They don't offer 15.4" WXGA+ (1440X900) matte screens, no one does, as I said before...
-
Oh yeah, there does not exist a 15.4" at that resolution, but there does exist the smaller 14.1".
-
Oh, they do exist but are either glossy or MBP (the only one with matte, afaik)
Is there a non-flective glossy out there?
