I'm used to my Clevo M570RU, which I could use 'Set FSB' with.

Also, I have an unlocked multiplier on that X9000, but that is another story.

Basically, Crystal CPUID doesn't seem to work, I'm unaware of a 'Set FSB' for i7 and thus I'm stuck with whatever speed it chooses to run at.

Anyone else found any intersting tweaks for mobile Core i7, maybe in the Microsoft HAL?

The i7 cannot currently be tweaked. Writing a program to do this has proven to be difficult it seems.

I think it was Vicious who created a thread with the premise that the i7s are not good enthusiast processors.

I wish you could find units with a QX9300 and a HD5870... that would be way better.

he has a 920xm... he has unlocked multipliers which 720qm and 820qm don't.
