Just wondering has anyone had any experience with acers monitors, im thinking about buying this to do video editing a little bit easier. Thanks

Acer's notebook monitors are so-so, but that has nothing to do with the question at hand.
I think that the model you are looking at is pretty good - the higher cd/m2 is always better, same thing with the contrast ratio. -
A higher contrast ratio would be nicer, especially considering most on newegg are 800:1 as far as I can recall. I also remember seeing a 1600:1 LG, but that may not have been on newegg. Also, 8ms seems a little low, most are 5ms. But we're talking about 3ms here. I don't think you'll notice. You'll certainly notice the contrast though.

The Samsung 931BF, which has much better specs (2000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms time), is on sale this week at BestBuy for the same price.

It is an average monitor. The contrast ratio and brightness is not great.
The resolution is rather awful as well, for a screen of that size... -
Is this a good monitor?
