    Hi guys

I am just wondering if the T3200 is the equivalent to any of the T5*** and T8*** processors with 2.0GHZ from Intel???

Not really. It's likely not that much slower, but it is likely slower.
Considering the price premium for the 8's especially, i'd be happy with a 3200, those things are expensive.

Either way it'd beat the living hell out of my p4 3.2! :p

Would be better in the Hardware section, but to be blunt...no. The T3200 is the lower line of Intel processors.

It is however comparable to the last generation Intel Core 2 Duos(specifically the T5750).

For general uses(and even gaming) it is plenty of processing power though mind you.

Honestly there really isn't THAT big of a difference between the T3200 and most other 2ghz core architecture chips (its the same chip just less cache). But almost invariably the T3200 is partnered with the abysmal GL40 chipset that has very limited cpu upgrade options (667 fsb only) and the slowest version of X4500 graphics. Most notebooks with T3200s are going to be bottom of the line cheapies.
