I've been looking at Amazon for a memory upgrade and they don't seem to have a seperate section for notebook and desktop ram...
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...2/ref=sr_1_7/002-7456866-1772022?ie=UTF8&s=pc

Will this work on a notebook ?

On another note, I've been searcing Amazon because it's the only US website I found that will let me pay with an internationl credit card (I ship to the US), does anyone know any other website I could try ? Amazon don't seem to have the 667mhz ram I've been looking for.
    Cheers

Sorry to bring this thread up again, but does anyone know any online stores that sell ram and might accept international credit card ? Newegg and ZZF don't and Amazon don't have what I'm looking for...

    Edit:
I found this: http://www.nextwarehouse.com/item/?282764 on nextwarehouse.com, does anyone know if this ram is any good, or anything about that website ? they seem to accept international orders.

If you would like to deal with a online order, i recommend that you choose some famous brand such as Kingston, Corair, Cu.....and so on. Doesn't matter what brand name if you purchase a memory in your local store, at least you can exchange and is easy for RMA. The expense will be much for the shipping when the memory is defective or you need to exchange.

Looks like I'll go with the 533 Corsair on Amazon then, thought I could pay NewEgg with paypal for a second there, but they will still need the paypal account to be in a US address :(

Are OCZ/G.SKILL/Transcend what you'd call "famous" brands Iter ?

OCZ is mildly famous, but I wouldn't touch the others. Furthermore, Corsair is a first-rate brand. I don't know where you got any ideas to the contrary.

As for the int'l credit card, try newegg.com. They're the best site IMO for any kind of computer parts. They might take your credit card.

NewEgg don't accept int'l CCs, Fry Outpost however, do, and I've ordered 2 sticks of 1gb Corsair 667mhz ram for 73USD each.
Where or why did you get the idea I was saying Corsair is not a good brand though ?
