All my SSDs are initialized as GPT because I read once that it takes 0.5 seconds less to initialize a GPT drive during boot up than an MBR Drive
Obviously I don't care bout the 2TB+ support feature of GPT since all my SSDs are much smaller but that fast boot up initialization is what made me set them as GPT for all
What do you guys do?

Mine are on GPT because I use UEFI boot.Ferris23 likes this. -
id switch to gpt in a heartbeat, unfortunately im stuck with bios only support on my rig, so mbr all the way for the time being
-
MBR for maximum compatibility.
I could switch my hard drives (but not my SSD) to GPT since XP x64 and Linux both support it for storage drives, but I don't really know what practical benefits if any it'd give me, so why mess with what's already working? Easier > 2 TB support is the only one I can name, and at the time being I don't have a need for that. -

the only thing I liked about GPT is the fact that it can be initialized on startup by like 0.5 seconds less than MBR
On a side note, after installing Windows 7, I switched BIOS to MBR and all my SSDs initialized as MBR again as Legacy BIOS plays better with MBR than GPT disks as opposed to the contrary of UEFI disks which play better with GPT -
Its a mix, my laptop is all GPT but most of my desktop drives are MBR because I CBB changing them, only the 3Tb HDD is GPT due to size reasons.

this thread made me think about reinitializing my os drive to gpt and testing the boot and shutdown times
lets see what im gonna get...

Is your SSD initialized as MBR or GPT?
