I tend to go by reviews on Newegg. Crucial is my #1 choice, tops for compatibility. -
Transcend is a good brand, if you like the price and get a lifetime warranty you should get. OCZ same thing. Here is a link to something I wrote a while ago. It deals with some of the memory questions. One thing is only 5 company's make the DRAM so most is just re-branded on to a PCB.

Transcend is okay, but I would spend the extra $5 or so on Crucial, Corsair, Patriot or OCZ.
Make sure to buy memory which has a lifetime warranty

I second Crucial.

I have a couple of Transcend 2GB modules running in different notebooks.
They have caused me no problems.

If I buy a new modules of OCZ, I will feel any difference???
-
If they are the same frequency, and capacity, than no you will not feel any performance difference.
The reason why we suggest Ocz, Corsair, Crucial, is becasue they are compatible with many systems, and they have higher quality memory chips, which usually last longer than standard generic brand memory chips.

No.................................They will work the same, some feel they will last longer or work from the start. Is this correct? Obviously disagreement, but lifetime warranty should remove most concern on the issue. I for one think RAM is RAM as it all comes from 5 companies only with crucial can you be almost certain you are getting Micron DRAM. Corvettes and Honda's going 60mph are both traveling at the same speed same thing with RAM brands.

Yes, Transcend is a good brand, go for it.

I don't think the brand matters that much if you're not an OCer. Chips are probably one of the most reliable camponents in a PC/laptop.
It's a good brand for memory laptop??
