Hey guys, so I just got a brand new dv6qe.
    i7 23640qm 6gbram hd6770GPU

I went to play cod4 on it and while playing I cant seem to move and shoot at the same time while playing. Is it the same with all trackpads and fps games or is somthing glitchy with my new HP? any help greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

Have you updated to the latest touchpad driver?

HP's new touchpads are pretty awful on the DV/DM series. Besides shouldn't you be using a mouse to play an FPS..

There may be a setting that is enabled that turns off the touchpad when the keyboard is in use--check your mouse settings and see if that is the case.

    Control Panel then Mouse settings.

Also you can try support.hp.com and punch in your model number and download the latest driver.
