So I went into work early, and while waiting for the server to restart I decided I would stress test my old Averatec. So I got all of my usual things open that I use, then I opened CPUZ and speefan, and finally I ran a script I created to max a PC out. Basically running this script sets the computer at 1.2GB ram usage, forcing the PC to thrash as well as pegs the CPU at 100% usage. On top of that I had WoW running to stress the IGP (for this old laptop WoW is VERY stressful). All I can say is after running this for almost 8 hours is WOW. My temps never past the 61-63C mark with the laptop sitting on my desk and no cooler or angle to promote better airflow. This thing was so maxed that it was completely and utterly unresponsive, yet not crashed. Im amazed it took this for 8 hours and never got hot. This thing is a beast and going to be tough to live without it.

You could have simply done it with ORTHOS:

Pfft but I wrote my own script and everything years and years ago. Well either way it was surprising results, its going to be tough when it actually dies (if it ever does) or if I have to sell it. Btw is orthos free?
