    Just got an HP Compaq CQ50-100em and it needs a new battery

    There are so many on eBay and I don't know how to choose the right one. Can someone recommend me a good quality one which will last? Thanks for the help!

    My recommendation is to buy original equipment HP if they aren't too expensive. Also ask for the manufacture date of the battery, because batteries sitting around lose overall capacity. If it's more than 6 months I wouldn't buy it unless it's very cheap. But just understand that it will likely have lost 5-10% usable capacity.
