The 256GB 850 PRO surprisingly beats the 512GB 850 PRO by a very small margin. Just like the 840 PRO 512GB wasn't the best of performers in the 840 PRO series, the trend carries on as the 256GB seems to be the best band for the buck as your OS / Apps / Games drive.

    System Tested On:

    Alienware 18 | i7 4810MQ @ 4 GHz | Radeon R9 M290X Crossfire | 32 GB Kingston HyperX 1866 MHz RAM
    Samsung 850 PRO 256GB + Samsung 840 EVO 1TB + Samsung 840 EVO 1TB

    Over-provisioning Level: 30%

OS Tweaks: Samsung Magician Reliability Tweaks + NTFS Compression Disabled + RAC Task Disabled
