So I just got a new Sony battery for my VAIO FE670G and the battery meter only goes to 92%!

This is the extra capacity battery that I got today and have been charging for about 2 hours.

I can't get it above 92% because when tha battery charges the light keeps blinking on the laptop. Well it stop blinking as if the battery is fully charged but when I take the cord out battery meter says 92%. Can someone help me out with this please?

Let the battery go through a full charge/discharge cycle to calibrate the meter.

I agree but the other thing I would suggest is don't watch the blinking light give it more time. My cell phone light goes from red to green at 90%. So give it a chance just to see.
