    Hi,

A friend of mine recently spilled some soda on my keyboard. Due to this some buttons no longer work (even after cleaning the keyboard with all trics stated on the internet).

I have now bought a new one but it can take 2 weeks before it is here. I am a patient man and i got an external keyboard. What's all the fuzz about then you think?

Well my 'FN' key is no longer working and you can't find it on an external laptop. I can turn my fans on max, adjust volume, turn on webcam, ... with the FN key and a combo. I am no longer capable of doing this...

Can some1 please help me with this problem? Is there ANY alternative to the FN key?

(no, key remappers don't work since they cannot find the 'fn' key)

    Thanks in advance!
