    It would work but you wouldn't get the advertised speeds because the M15x is limited to SATA II 3GB/s.

    You should take a look around at the forum, but the general consensus would be to stay safe and stick with Samsung 830/840/840 Pro, Crucial M4, or Intel 330/520. It all depends on your budget though.
