    Hi i'm planning on upgrading my laptop's RAM (brand new M14X)...

    I found many users saying that the HyperX 1600MHZ - 8GB (KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G) it has a really good performance....

    but then i found other thread saying the opposite...

    any recommendations for a new RAM???? (it would be better having 8GB and upper or equals than 1600MHZ)

    Unless you have a quad core Sandy Bridge i7, it won't natively support DDR3 1600 anyways. i5/i3 now support DDR3 1333.

    If you already have 8GB, a discrete GPU, and not overclocking, you won't see any benefit with faster memory speed.

    I order the M14X two days ago (just 2 weeks and i'll have it in my arms XD)
    i only order the laptop with 4 gb of ram, my processor is i7 2720QM...

    I think i will buy this one > HyperX DDR3 1600MHZ - 8G (KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G)

    At the moment in newegg is out of stock so i was looking in other online store and i found this:
